T's First Half Marathon

Last Sunday T ran his first half marathon completing the run in personal best time and a mile pace of 7:33. In fact he came in so much sooner than his goal that I didn't even see him cross the finish line. I was thoroughly impressed and proud of his efforts to prepare, especially as I think I'd be pleased just to finish walking the race before the race officially closed and the clocks stopped counting times. There is something contagious about a race on a fall crisp day. And it was fun to see T run into a student who was completely thrilled to have seen him run the race too.
